Chidori vs Rasengan

Which jutsu would win, Chidori or Rasengan?

Every knows that the chidori is a different combination from the rasengan. Kakashi copyed the fourth signature jutsu, but Kakashi did not fully complete the rasengan. Kakashi did add his lighting element into the foundation of the rasengan and developed the chidori. When Kakashi taught it to Sasuke, that is what Sasuke learned. Naruto however learn the Rasengan from Jiraiya. Naruto did learn the Rasengan, but he did not also learn to incorporate his natural element chakra into the Rasengan. It is not till "Shippuden" that Naruto learns to add his natural elemental chakra into the Rasengan.

Getting back to the question, I believe that as of right now, Naruto Futon Rasengan (Futon Rasenshuriken) would beat Sasuke's Chidori. Here are three reason why:

1. The Futon Rasengan is an S-Level jutsu that is almost impossible to anyone else except Naruto. The Futon Rasengan is a dangerous jutsu that could potentially damage the molecular cells within the human body. This damage will leave the shinobi without the ability to use chakra.


2. The Chidori, as we seen so far, already has elemental chakra incorporated into the jutsu. During the battle between Naruto and Sasuke in the first part of the manga, Sasuke Chidori did not cause much damage to Naruto that the nine-tail fox could not repair.


3. If Naruto and Sasuke were to fight right now, Naruto's Futon Rasengan would out clash Sasuke Chidori because of the elemental factor. Wind triumph lighting.
